In 2014, where three upper sixth students, Amy Scott, Beth King and Lily Williams had a dream. One they thought was impossible. To write, compose and direct a musical.

Fast forward two years, we have three incredibly proud directors, a two hour script and 12 outstanding songs. The show made an outstanding debut and will be gracing the stage again @ the Edinburgh Fringe.

The remarks from the audience speak for themselves:

I enjoyed the production immensely - I thought the piece was extremely powerful, moving, imaginative and thought-provoking. Beth, Amy and Lily are clearly three very talented young people. It was such a joy to see their ownership of the production in every respect.

Dale Rooks, Youth Theatre Director at Chichester Festival Theatre

I couldn’t fault it and I thought the organisation which must have gone into producing it was a remarkable feat.

The production of The Shot was incredible, I’ve never seen anything as good as that! It made me laugh and cry all at the same time.
